I can barely contain my excitement!! Prepare for a long post today! This gorgeous Dallas wedding is my first destination wedding!!
I first met Michaela and Chase when Chase planned the most beautiful Malibu proposal in December 2016. Then I visited Dallas a couple months later when I extended my trip to the Magnolia Silos in Waco to scope out the venues early. Even though we’re in different states, I feel lucky to have spent so much time with them before their wedding day.
I fell in love with the now-newlyweds when they traveled in for the big proposal and I’d been counting down the days until their wedding ever since. They are two of the coolest, most caring people, and they are so much fun to be around. They are also total naturals in front of the camera, which is no surprise when you find out that they both have a background in television.
While they spent the majority of their relationship in the beautiful city of Dallas, they recently moved to Pittsburgh, PA, where Chase works as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WPXI. So for a few months, these sports fanatics were planning this big day from afar! That’s no small task, and they did an incredible job from the biggest items to the tiniest details!!
Michaela and Chase, thank you for trusting me (+ Casey!) to capture your beautiful day! We had a blast with you two, and loved every minute of it.
If the color of Chase’s suit wasn’t amazing on its own, it was lined with vintage romance posters… staap!!! Kudos to the designer/maker André Phillipe
